Tell us a little about how you met
We met in Paris at the world championships hairdressing competitions in 2017 both being a part of the Northern Ireland hairdressing team. It was soon after meeting each other in the city of romantic that we couldn’t be separated from each other. We didn’t win the hairdressing competition that year but we both felt like we had won gold coming home after getting to meet and know each other. It was just the start of something special.
Talk us through the proposal
Well Graham had planned a holiday to Ibiza with putting a lot off planned an organising in to it to asking Ryan the big question ? He had booked a private yacht to take them out on an we were out on it for hours before Ryan know it the sun was starting to set the scene was so Beautiful and romantic graham got down on 1 knee an asked “will you marry me” with Ryan replying very quickly most definitely YES!! Not realising nearly half off Northern Ireland was sitting waiting to hear what the reply was with graham telling them all he was going to do it when he had a couple off drinks in him at the weekend.
Ceremony
We had our ceremony in The Great Hall with 126 guests, it was absolutely stunning, loved the setting.
Reception
We had our reception in the Renaissance Suite, which we both loved from the very beginning.
Why Galgorm
We were both looking for that something really special and when we went to look around the Resort, it was exactly that and more. We loved it from the start and we had the fantastic Donna showing us around, who later became our Wedding Planner. She was fantastic from start to finish.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
It was so lovely to have all our friends and family there with us after an awful year due to Covid and having to postpone the wedding twice. The venue, staff and everyone involved in the day were incredible.
