I met Chris when I was 16, we became quite close friends and at the age of 17 he decided to tell me how he felt towards me. We have never looked back! We now have the most beautiful son called Max. I count my blessings every single day I got my happy ever after so young!
I'm not the easiest of people to surprise so how he pulled it off I will never know! First of all he had planned to propose on Valentine's Day and I mentioned to a friend how I wouldn't want Chris to ever propose on days where it's expected so came plan B. I had this favourite restaurant Chris took me to a lot and I just loved how small and cosy it was. So he had planned a night out for us, we missed our reservation and I said not to worry we can go another day and he was determined to get us there that night, he had the dessert chef write on the plate of my favourite dessert in chocolate 'Will you marry me?' and of course I said yes! Cute and simple which was perfect for us!

I searched online not knowing anywhere really for weddings and as soon as I seen Galgorm, I knew it was perfect. Once we seen it Chris and myself just fell in love! The setting, the room, everything was perfect for us.
It's not something we thought about but as soon as we seen Galgorm Resort & Spa we decided we wanted the whole day in the one place. I loved it all!
Getting to finally say I do and completing our family with all our family and friends there to witness it all!
Don't lose sight of the reason why you are getting married. Enjoy the planning! It is stressful but in the end it will all come together. Also, take a few minutes on the big day alone with your other half to take it all in.
