Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
We met on a flight from Belfast to Edinburgh. We were both travelling over to see the Spice Girls in concert. Clayton sat down beside me and we started chatting. We didn’t exchange numbers at first but Clayton did some detective work and found me on Facebook. We started chatting and over a few months and a couple of dates we just knew that it was meant to be!
There wasn’t a proposal as such…. Well Clayton tried to get down on one knee after a Garth Brooks concert in Dublin while walking past a stream full of sewage. It’s not how I wanted to remember me saying yes! So after that failed attempt we were back in Edinburgh where it all began and we stopped at a jewellers window, went in and came out engaged.

We just knew after speaking to our wedding planner Jonathan and seeing around the Resort that it was going to be the perfect venue for all our family and friends to come to and celebrate with us.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
This is a really hard one as our day was perfect from start to finish! Hannah our banquet manager was amazing and made the day flow seamlessly. Our food was amazing! Having our ceremony & reception in the same venue was so convenient for all of our guests too. Our room Decor by Millie’s Parlour was something we will never forget!
