Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
We were in Cyprus, Michael hired our own speed boat which was large enough for about 20 people which meant we had lots of room to lounge and relax on the boat. We had a local restaurant prepare food for us to take on the boat and lots of drinks. We visited various sights including blue lagoon then at sunset Michael stopped the boat in front of Aphrodite's Rock and asked me to take a photo of it- the lighting wasn't great so I asked him to take it. When I turned to around he'd started his proposal speech and got down on one knee. Very romantic.
The Setting
Ceremony
This was at All Saints Church in Ballymena - it was a beautiful service.
Reception
Renaissance Suite - most beautiful of all the venues at Galgorm in my opinion.
Why Galgorm
There was no other venue that compared to Galgorm. The setting, the suite, the rooms, the spa- its the perfect wedding location with so many photo opportunities. The staff are also incredible - nothing is too much trouble. Both us and all our guest were blown away with the service at Galgorm. I'd recommend the venue to anyone. Donna and Hannah were both amazing and such a pleasure to work with/and have there on our wedding day.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
We were in a mad rush to get to the Church as I was almost an hour late due to hair and makeup taking longer than expected but finally getting to the Church and walking down the aisle to Michael was definitely the most memorable part of the day - and obviously our vows. HollySax was also awesome in the evening (she came on after the band and played alongside our DJ).

Stationery
digitalprinting.co.uk - order of service. We had rose gold mirror placecards which were ordered from lasermadeoccasions.co.uk
Cake
Four tier cake - light grey and white marble base, soft pink tier, crystal tier then a plain white tier on top - the flavours were white chocolate and raspberry, chocolate, lemon and vanilla. The cake was made by Sarah Irwin at Yummymummycakes and was delicious.
Flowers
I had artificial flowers made to decorate the candelabras in the Renaissance suite and brought these with me from London. The bouquets were provided from BlossomStories who also did our top table display.
Entertainment
Sophie McHugh Music (aka Shiels) - she was an incredible singer. She sang and played the piano in the Church then sang and played the guitar at our drinks reception. Starling Entertainment provided the Collective Band and we had HollySax play with the DJ late in the evening.
Decor & Design
We had a lot of the floral decor made in advance and brought to the Galgorm. It was really dressing the candelabras with flowers and decorating tables with crystals and favours, cylinder vases with floating candles and adding additional flowers to the top table display. We also had a photo guest book table and a memory table with loved ones who couldn't be with us on the day.
Photographer
Bradley Henderson - he was brilliant. A pleasure to have around on the day - really nice guy and the photos were incredible.
Videographer
Rory McKeever - again great to have around on the wedding day, a really nice guy.
