Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
Ben and I had a modern day fairytale meeting, through a dating site. We may have met in a very structured way but the fireworks of our first dates were undeniable. Maybe AI matched us JUST perfectly!
Ben, knowing how much of a Christmas fairy I am, proposed on Christmas morning with our little girls by his side. He even hid the ring under our Christmas tree, trusted the girls not to open it and surprised me with an extra Christmas sparkle in 2022.

Why Galgorm?
The Galgorm holds a special place in our hearts. It was our first mini break together as a couple. We took a walk around the grounds and standing in the Phantom house, I said “imagine getting married here” thankfully Ben didn’t run away at my bold statement a few months into dating! Between the viewing with our wedding planner and the showcases it was a no brainier that the Galgorm was perfect for us! The atmosphere, the food and the grounds are all fabulous and we really wanted to spoil all our loved ones to a memorable day celebrating in style.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
Oh goodness everything was so memorable it’s hard to choose. But the little things captured my heart the most. The confetti exit from the phantom house melted my heart! I felt like the happiest person in the world and it will always stay with me. Ben loved our drinks reception so much! We were blessed with beautiful weather and seeing our guests outside enjoying their cocktails in the sun with our string quartet playing was a memorable moment.
