Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
Mark and I met nearly 9 years ago through mutual friends! He proposed 2 years ago whilst walking along a beautiful cliff path in Albuferia about 10 minutes before getting kicked out by hotel staff for trespassing! (We did not realise this at the time).
Ceremony
The ceremony was in the stunning Phantom House, creating a rustic and chilled atmosphere for everyone.
Reception
The best one yet… Renaissance Suite. It was just the perfect size and the dance floor gives plenty of room for our questionable dance moves.
Why Galgorm
We couldn’t have picked anywhere else. Karen made planning so easy which made everything so stress free. It has everything from being a beautiful setting for pictures to the stunning food and most helpful staff you can find.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
We don’t even know how to answer that! If I had to pick one thing it was having some time with family and the bridal party in the Phantom House after the ceremony… they even brought some arrival food to us.

New Light band, they are new to the scene and wow what a night with them! We barely picked any songs for them to play and they seemed to play everything we wanted!

Leaf Designs, we also added some DIY items and the Galgorm staff displayed them exactly as requested if not better!

The best there is… Steven Hanna who is so chilled and knows all the perfect spots in Galgorm.
Videographer
Matthew Fields… he is amazing and captured the day so beautifully! We had a highlight video by the time we finished our meal!
The Look
My dress was from the wonderful Romantique in Magherafelt and altered by Lorraine McKay who fitted the dress perfectly!
The Wedding Party Look
The suits were from SD Kells in Larne, Richard who works there knows his stuff inside out! My bridesmaid dresses were from Ivory Grace in Galgorm and just looked perfect on the girls! I had them picked in about 10 minutes as Daphne made my choice so easy.
