Tell us a little about how you met
Michael and I first met 8 years ago, on Valentine's day in Liverpool. I was over for the weekend with a group of friends and Michael was at university there.
Talk us through the proposal
Michael proposed to me in the Westbury in Dublin on Saturday 21st July 2015. It took me totally by surprise and of course I said yes! It was for that reason that we chose the date Saturday 21st July for our wedding.

Why Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort
As soon as we visited Galgorm we knew this was the place where we wanted to have our wedding. We had visited lots of other venues and nowhere else even came close to it. We both loved the Renaissance Suite, with its fabulous decor and breath-taking view of the river.
What made you choose a Resort location
Having our wedding at Galgorm Resort meant that we could celebrate for two days with our friends and family. The majority of our guests stayed over and made use of the spa facilities the next day. The day after the wedding, we booked a family meal in Fratellis and enjoyed some relaxing spa treatments.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
One of the most memorable parts of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Michael waiting for me. It was a special moment I will never forget. Another memorable part of the day was when we first arrived at Galgorm and were taken inside to see how the Renaissance Suite had been decorated. It was like something out of a fairytale, it looked truly magical.
Advice for future couples
My advice for future couples would be to just enjoy the whole day. You have planned this day for months/years and it really does go so fast, so just make the most of every single minute!
