Tell us a little about how you met?
We met when we worked together in an ice cream shop in Edinburgh
Talk us through the proposal
We were on a road trip around the North Coast of Scotland (route is named the North Coast 500). On the second day of our trip, the November sun was shining so we decided to stop off at a nature reserve in the middle of nowhere called Knochan Crag (near Ullapool). We walked to the top of the reserve and the views were spectacular. I was busy taking photographs of the stunning scenery when I turned around and Adam was down on one knee, this is where he asked me to marry him. It was beautiful and so peaceful, just the two of us. it was perfect!

Well firstly, it’s the nicest spa we have ever been to! Secondly, as soon as we walked into the Galgorm we loved it! The grounds are stunning and the staff are so friendly and helpful! We could not imagine anywhere better to celebrate our wedding day.
What made you choose a Resort location?
Ciara is from Portrush but we both live in Edinburgh. We knew we wanted the ceremony to be in Portrush but we wanted a little bit of luxury for the evening and next day. Galgorm Resort & Spa offers this on a plate and isn’t too far away from the Port.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day?
Well, the ceremony must be the highlight, it was so special and magical. But dancing and partying the night away with our favourite people was so much fun! The best party EVER!
Advice for future couples
Go all out! It’s completely worth it! Also make sure you get a good photographer and videographer, its so nice to have memories to look back on. We weren’t going to get a videographer but did in the end and I’m so glad.
