Marcus and I met when we were 18 through our friends groups that were running around together at the time and at Young Farmers Events.

Think Marcus had the 7 year itch and proposed on a weekend away to the beautiful Lough Erne Resort.

Why Galgorm?
I always dreamed of having our wedding at Galgorm. It is my favourite hotel and the most beautiful setting. When I saw the Renaisance Suite I just fell in love with it!
What made you choose a Resort location?
The beautiful gardens so we didn’t have to be far away from our guests when getting our pictures taken. It really is like somewhere from a fairytale.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
This is very difficult as I think back and smile at so many moments from our wedding day. One moment would be when we sat down at the top table and seeing all our friends and family in one room celebrating us and having craic together after what has been a difficult year for everyone.
Advice for future couples
Take a step back and take in everything that is going on around you! Time passes by so quickly, I know everyone says its the quickest day of your lives….now I believe it because it truly was!

There was no real theme for the day however, Marcus is a farmer so we did have tractor shaped shortbread and the table names were all types of potatoes.

My wedding dress and veil came from Wedded Bliss in Portglenone…the girls were fantastic out there and helped me find my dream dress. I purchased my shoes from the Rainbow Club and jewellery was Swarovski.

Bridesmaid dresses also came from Wedded Bliss as I had such a good experience when Wedding Dress shopping. They have such a selection of dresses to choose from.
