Tell us a little about how you met
We met through a mutural friend almost 10 years ago. But we didn't start going out until 4 years later.
Talk us through the proposal
Jenn was out for dinner with friends one night. She came home to find a note from Tommy saying that he had gone to the shop, but had left a treasure hunt to keep her occupied… Totally normal occurrence! The treasure hunt led Jenn to various places in the house, with a little gift at each one. The last clue led her to the wardrobe, and when she opened it Tommy was waiting on one knee, ring in hand! The first letters of all the clues spelt out ‘MARRY ME’, and the rest is history.

It is without a doubt one of the premier wedding locations in the county. The location, the hotel, the spa, the staff… everything about it is first class. There was a great variety of packages to choose from, all of which were very reasonably priced.
What made you choose a Resort location
We decided to have the ceremony and the reception at The Resort to cut down on our guest’s travel. This meant they could relax for the whole day and also stay the night.
Tell us the most memorable part of the day
It’s so hard to choose! From our nephew’s Basil Fawlty walk down the aisle, to the French Village donuts, to the caricatures, to the singing waiter, to the Sky TV magician, to the guest appearance by Ironman, it was a day full of memorable moments.
Advice for future couples
Just be yourselves! To hell with tradition and what other people think; it’s your day and you’re the only ones that matter. Make it the best party ever.
