Tell us a little about how you met
Paul and I met in Carlingford. He was on a staff night out with the "Tangs" my brother in law drove for the same company and invited me along ….playing cupid!
Talk us through the proposal
Paul took me to Oxford Island National Nature Reserve where he showed me the places he used to play as kids. we walked along the pier overlooking Lough Neagh. we talked for ages about how we felt we'd known each other all our lives it just felt so right and at that point standing under the lighthouse Paul got down on knee.. time stood still, we both cried and shook a little...It was perfect! I was going to marry my best friend. We rushed home to tell our family and friends the good news and booked a viewing of the Galgorm the next day!

Why Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort
We knew it had to be Galgorm as it was our special place. It was where Paul took me for our first weekend away and where he told me he loved me. we enjoyed a number of nights at the Galgorm after this and just fell in love with it, it's our special place.
What made you choose a Resort location
We felt Galgorm was like no other place we'd been to, it has everything you dream of for the perfect wedding venue. It's somewhere all our family and friends could meet up the next day and enjoy the Thermal Village.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
Mine would be the dance I had with my daughter Rachel. Paul said when he saw me walk up the aisle to him.
Advice for future couples
Book the Galgorm! I had nothing to worry about from day one as our fabulous wedding planner Donna took care of everything and nothing was a bother (even the 1000 emails I sent her) Decky took care of us that day with excellent feedback from our guests on how quick and efficient his staff team were during the meal..also just enjoy it all take too many pictures (book Kris Dickson for this, his photos are breath-taking) as it really does go too fast.
