Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
We first met in high school and we were good friends throughout. We then both went to different University’s and were not in contact for a few years. Both of us were invited to a mutual friend’s birthday party year’s later and this is where we reconnected! Josh asked me on a date that night and that was the start of our relationship.
For our proposal Josh took me to one of our first date spots on the beach. He had prepared a picnic with all my favourite foods and champagne. He also had made a scrap book with all of our favourite memories together. When I looked up from the book he was on one knee proposing! He had then organised a night away in on of our favourite hotels and a family party the next day. It was perfect!

Why Galgorm?
As soon as we viewed the Galgorm we knew it was the place for our wedding. Right from the start we were treated so well and felt comfortable there! Donna showed us around and was able to answer any questions we had and made us excited for our big day. It had so many beautiful spots for photos, the Renaissance suite was exactly what we were looking for and we loved the idea of a spa the next day. We could find no fault.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
We couldn’t choose so we have 2. Our first is seeing each other for the first time at the top of the aisle. Our 2nd is dancing until our feet were sore and then heading up with our close friends and family to the residents bar to de-brief. It was so lovely to be able to sit down with our loved ones and chat about the day before heading to bed!
