Tell us a little about how you met & talk us through the proposal
We went to the same schools for years but it wasn’t until we were nearing the end of our time in high school that we really met through mutual friends, 8 and a half years ago. Our friendship blossomed into a relationship over the course of a few months. We were inseparable ever since and it was in New York December 2022 where Aaron proposed in Bryant park underneath the Empire State Building. Aaron had the proposal planned for Central Park followed by an evening dinner booked months in advance. However, Zara got hangry in the afternoon and Aaron had to think on his feet. He held off on the proposal, bluffed to Zara that he had only just found this restaurant for dinner, and managed to tell the waitress to keep the champagne on ice that was following dinner. Aaron quickly located the Bryant Park Christmas Market where under the backdrop of the Empire State Building he got down on one knee and proposed.

We have been countless times before to the spa and for overnight stays and have always had a fabulous time. It was a no brainer when we viewed the Renaissance suite at Christmas time that this would be the perfect setting for our special day. We wanted a classic modern vibe and this is exactly what the Renaissance suite gave us.
Tell us the most memorable part of your day
Sitting back at dinner time with our view from the top table and being able to take in the fabulous decor and seeing everyone enjoying their meal was something we will never forget. It was surreal.
